Building Accessibility
The Brickhaven Inn is a historic Second Empire mansion built in 1872. Due to the building’s age and architectural characteristics, certain accessibility limitations exist.
Access to the property requires the use of stairs. To reach the front door, one must ascend 9 stairs. The inn offers one guestroom on the first floor and five guestrooms on the second floor. Please note that the property does not have an elevator.
As a result of these structural features, the inn may not be fully accessible to individuals who use wheelchairs or who have limited mobility. We are committed to providing accurate information regarding our facilities and will gladly discuss specific accessibility considerations to help determine whether our accommodations are suitable for your needs.
For additional details or clarification, please contact us directly at 574‑366‑0220. We are happy to assist you.
Service Animal Policy
Pets are not permitted at the Brickhaven Inn. Service animals, as defined by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), are welcome.
Guests traveling with a service animal are encouraged to contact the inn at 574‑366‑0220 at the time of booking to discuss any specific needs or questions.
In accordance with ADA guidelines, staff may ask only the following questions to determine whether an animal qualifies as a service animal:
- Whether the animal is required because of a disability; and
- What work or task the animal has been trained to perform.
We are committed to ensuring equal access and a comfortable stay for all guests.
